When injuries happen they can sideline a WWE Superstar for months, and that’s exactly what happened when Primo Colon suffered a knee injury back in June. But Colon made his return to the ring during the WWE live event in Rio Rancho, New Mexico on Saturday night and he also worked the live event on Sunday night in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The Colons teamed with Baron Corbin and Erick Rowan, and lost to The Hype Bros, Sin Cara and Luke Harper.
Sunday night John Cena and Roman Reigns finally got a chance to back up their words when they faced off one on one at No Mercy. John Cena hit Roman Reigns with four Attitude Adjustments, but Cena just couldn’t get the job done.
After the fourth Attitude Adjustment, Roman Reigns hit John Cena with a Superman Punch and a spear, and then he beat him clean in the middle of the ring.
After the pay-per-view was over John Cena appeared on Raw Talk, and he said that he has nothing but respect for Roman Reigns, and he’s proud of him.
John Cena isn’t the only person who’s proud of Roman Reigns, as The Usos took to Twitter to congratulate Roman on his big victory.
