The WWE is always a dangerous place and you never really know what can happen when you step in the ring. Sin Cara is currently experiencing a rather nice push on SmackDown roster where he battles with Baron Corbin every week in an attempt to remain relevant and he’s done a pretty good job of it.
After Corbin tried to pull off Sin Cara’s mask and reveal his true face, Sin Cara lost his mind on The Lone Wolf. After all, he doesn’t want anyone revealing he’s actual Hunico. He beat Baron Corbin around the ring in a fashion we’ve never seen. After all, Corbin is usually the one administrating the beatdowns.
Nobody plans for an injury but that is the nature of the pro wrestling business. Sometimes it doesn’t take much to do the trick either. It can just be simple wear and tear on someone’s body and them just having enough. Either way, it looks like Sin Cara suffered an injury today at the house show in Madrid and it wasn’t even during one of his signature high spots either, although it did appear he might have been gearing up for one.
As you can see from the clip below, Sin Cara was just executing a simple move he’s done so many times before while he lowered the top rope and allowed his opponent to fly over the top rope and to the floor. But something went wrong.
Sin Cara rolled around in pain while he clutched his leg. It has to be somewhat serious enough for him to sell his injury. Let’s just hope for the best because reports were Sin Cara had just signed a new multi-year deal and was receiving a big push.
We’ll have to wait until something official comes out. But it might not be a good time for Sin Cara at the present moment.
