Last week SmackDown Live beat Raw in the ratings, but unfortunately the blue brand wasn’t able to hit the red brand with the knockout punch two weeks in a row.
This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live drew 2.596 million viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Viewership was down compared to the 2.885 million viewers who watched last week’s show.
SmackDown featured an advertised Intercontinental Championship match between The MIz and Dean Ambrose, as well as the AJ Styles/John Cena contract signing. Raw featured an advertised appearance from Goldberg, and this week’s episode managed to draw 3.046 million viewers.
The WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament is set to air live on the WWE Network on January 14th and 15th, and WWE has announced that Mark Andrews will be joining the tournament.
Other talents confirmed for the tournament include. Trent Seven, Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Wolfgang, Tyson T-Bone, Tucker, Jordan Devlin, Roy Johnson, Joseph Conners, HC Dyer, Jack Starz, Sam Gradwell, James Drake, Tyson T. Bone, Dan Moloney, Chris Tyler, Saxon Huxley, Ringo Ryan and Tiger Ali.
