Last week SmackDown Live beat Raw in the ratings, but unfortunately the blue brand wasn’t able to hit the red brand with the knockout punch two weeks in a row.
This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live drew 2.596 million viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Viewership was down compared to the 2.885 million viewers who watched last week’s show.
SmackDown featured an advertised Intercontinental Championship match between The MIz and Dean Ambrose, as well as the AJ Styles/John Cena contract signing. Raw featured an advertised appearance from Goldberg, and this week’s episode managed to draw 3.046 million viewers.
The WWE United Kingdom Championship tournament is set to air live on the WWE Network on January 14th and 15th, and WWE has announced that Mark Andrews will be joining the tournament.

The status quo? Ay caramba!
I’ve got to be honest, I liked SmackDown a lot more than Raw this week. What about you?
This week’s raw was better than the last one but smackdown knows how to make every segment count. I’m loving every small change. From Ellsworth’s new career move to the styles kick to Cena. Added heel Ziggler and Dean beating Miz, the snow was solid. Agreed.
Smackdown Live has been impressive, top to bottom. It’s amazing when you think about it – Ryno was relevant. Good work.
Raw? Not so much. Mick Foley looks lost.
