For weeks now Jeff Hardy and Shinsuke Nakamura have been taunting one another, and on Sunday night Hardy defended his WWE United States Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at Extreme Rules.
After the ring announcer introduced Jeff Hardy and Shinsuke, the referee grabbed the belt and as he was handing the US Title off, Nakamura hit Jeff Hardy with a low blow while the ref wasn’t looking.
Hardy then told the ref to ring the bell, and Shinsuke hit a single Kinshasa to win the title in a match that only lasted a few seconds.
As Shinsuke was celebrating, Randy Orton’s music hit and as Orton made his way down to the ring, Nakamura exited and stood up on the announce table.
Orton got in the ring, and as Hardy was getting up, Orton knocked him back down, spread his legs, and then stomped on him.
Orton then made his exit as Shinsuke looked on.
