Columbus, Ohio is a huge wrestling city. Unfortunately, they will probably never see a WrestleMania even though OSU’s “Horseshoe” would be an ideal location, the weather during April in Columbus is anything but. NXT travelled to the capital of the Buckeye State, and they were indoors. They were also performing in front of an absolutely packed house.
Even though Elias Samson lost a “Loser Leaves NXT” match at a recent television taping, it hasn’t aired yet. But, due to the internet and websites much like this one (you’re welcome), everybody already knows he’s not supposed to be drifting around WWE’s developmental brand. Therefore, he performed as “The Rambler” tonight. Beats the hell out of “El Vegabundo.”
Enjoy Samson in NXT while you can, because word going around is he’ll be on the main roster soon.
Main roster jump aside, Aleister Black still defeated Samson in pretty quick fashion.
Sanity defeated #DIY in a pretty good contest between the two teams. The finish came when Nikki Cross appeared from under the ring to assist in the win. Sanity is a package ready for the main roster already, each member possesses a skill unique to their character and they could very well become one of the most dominant factions in WWE history if given the right opportunities. But, much like with everything in professional wrestling only time will tell on that one.
Kassius Ohno faced off against Tough Enough alumni Patrick Clark and although the match ended as many would expect, Clark did whatever he could to make a name for himself. He really does have a great passion for the business and his hard work is slowly but surely going to pay off sooner or later.
Nikki Cross has been going absolutely insane (bad pun) trying to get her hands on Asuka and she got her wish in Columbus. However, it didn’t end well for Nicola Glencross (real name, we promise). Cross took a kick to the head and fell to the Empress of Tomorrow.
The main event of the night saw Shinsuke Nakamura and Tye Dillinger defeat Andrade “Cien” Almas and Bobby Roode. The Glorious One didn’t take the fall, though. He left that up to Almas after taking a stiff Kinshasa to the head.
There were a handful of other tweets we just couldn’t resist from putting up because they’re awesome, and so are you for coming to Still Real To Us for all of your wrestling news in the ring and behind the scenes. Stay glorious, my friends.
