Shinsuke Nakamura Reveals When He Plans To Retire From Wrestling

Shinsuke Nakamura has been on the WWE main roster for a few years now, and he’s feuded with some of the biggest names in the company. Nakamura has been lucky enough to have a successful career in the world of professional wrestling, but sooner or later all good things must come to an end.

Nakamura recently spoke to The Straits Times about when he plans to retire, and he noted that he only plans to wrestle for another five years.

“I want to wrestle at least five more years. I’m 39 now. (Former MLB) baseball player Ichiro Suzuki retired at 45 and he was such an influence for Japanese sportsmen, especially those who lived in other countries. And so I need to wrestle until I’m 45 years old.”

There are still plenty of potential opponents for Shinsuke Nakamura to face in WWE, but he has his eye on one specific Superstar, and that Superstar is Roman Reigns.

“Some people say his wrestling is simple but I like ‘simple’ too.”
