Shinsuke Nakamura Reunites With Former WWE Star In Japan

Shinsuke Nakamura kicked off the new year the right way as he traveled to Japan to compete at a Pro Wrestling NOAH event where he faced off against The Great Muta and he ended up defeating the pro wrestling legend.

The former United States Champion also crossed paths with former WWE star, and current IWGP Women’s Champion Kairi who posted photos of the happy reunion along with a caption which said, “Thank you very much for the miracle, the heart-trembling match.”

Kairi, formerly known as Kairi Sane, signed with WWE in 2017 and she went on to work with the NXT brand where she won the NXT Women’s Championship. In 2019 she was called up to the main roster and she formed a tag team with Asuka called The Kabuki Warriors. They managed to achieve success together as they captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Kairi parted ways with WWE in 2021 when he contract expired and she became the inaugural IWGP Women’s Champion back in November.
