Daniel Bryan wants to wrestle again, that’s no big secret. Bryan was forced to retire last year, but he’s teased that he might return to the ring when his WWE contract expires in 2018. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently held a Q&A session on Twitter to promote the latest episode of Total Bellas, and when a fan asked him which WWE star he would like to face if he could wrestle one more match, he named Shinsuke Nakamura.

Whether or not this match will ever take place inside a WWE ring remains to be seen, but it doesn’t look like Daniel Bryan will have to work very hard to convince Nakamura to be his opponent as Nakamura responded by saying “Somehow someday.”

Shinsuke Nakamura isn’t the only wrestler Daniel Bryan wants to face, as Bryan jokingly told ROH World Champion Cody Rhodes that he wants to challenge him for his title when his contract expires.
Cody Rhodes decided to have a little fun Friday night at Death Before Dishonor when he busted out the “Yes!” chant and you can check out a quick clip below.

It will definitely be interesting to see what happens when Daniel Bryan’s WWE contract expires in 2018 because ROH COO Joe Koff recently said that Bryan would be welcomed back to the company. So it’s safe to say he won’t have to look far to find work if he does decide that returning to the ring is the right move.
