Shinsuke Nakamura teamed up with Cesaro to take on Braun Strowman and Elias in a Symphony of Destruction match on Friday Night SmackDown last week, and the match featured several musical instruments which were used as weapons.
The match came to an end when Braun Strowman hit Shinsuke with a powerslam on a piano, and Shinsuke’s head was busted open when he took the move.
WWE has since shared an update on Shinsuke Nakamura noting that he received nine staples in his head following the match.
“Graphic warning: @shinsukenakamura received nine staples to the head after last night’s brutal #SymphonyOfDestruction match. #SmackDown”
Despite the fact that Shinsuke received nine staples in his head, he posted an update of his own on Instgram following the match telling fans not to worry.
“Don’t worry. I’m a tough. But, the piano was toughest. @adamscherr99 and I couldn’t beat it.”
