Survivor Series kicked off in a big way as Team Rhea defeated Team Liv in the first WarGames match of the night. The action continued with the second match which featured LA Knight defending his WWE United States Championship against the one and only Shinsuke Nakamura.
LA Knight looked frustrated as he made his way down to the ring and he was noticeably aggressive when the match started. Early on LA Knight dominated Shinsuke. However, the momentum shifted after a few minutes and Nakamura held the upper hand for several minutes while LA Knight struggled to make a comeback.
Shinsuke Nakamura set LA Knight up for the Kinshasa, but Knight countered it by picking up him and slamming him into the mat. Knight followed up with an elbow from the top as the ref checked on Shinsuke. LA Knight started to call for the BFT as Shinsuke rolled out of the ring.
They battled back and forth in between the two rings then Shinsuke hit a reverse DDT on LA Knight who was sent crashing down onto the steel below. Shinsuke then landed the Kinshasa to win the WWE United States Championship.
