WWE isn’t wasting any time putting together a triple threat match featuring all three members of The Shield. At the beginning of Raw Shane McMahon announced that Roman Reigns would face off against Seth Rollins in the main event of the show to determine the number one contender for the title.
Rollins and Reigns battled it out for a while and eventually Roman speared Rollins over the Spanish announce table and both men were counted out. Shane McMahon then made his way out to the entrance ramp.
Shane was cutting a promo when Dean Ambrose got on the mic and said he would face both men. Shane McMahon then made a triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Battleground featuring all three members of The Shield.

Dean Ambrose then attacked Roman Reigns and left the ring. As he was leaving Seth Rollins tried to attack Roman and Dean returned to the ring to take out Seth Rollins. Dean Ambrose stood tall with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to end the show.
