Shelton Benjamin has been in the professional wrestling business for a long time, and this week he made history on WWE Monday Night Raw.
Benjamin pinned R-Truth to become the new WWE 24/7 Champion, and he also joined MVP and Bobby Lashley’s stable, The Hurt Business.
By winning the title on Monday night Shelton Benjamin became the 100th champion since the time the title was introduced on May 29, 2019.
The WWE Stats & Info Twitter page posted an interesting stat about the title win noting that it took 14 months to reach 100 reigns.
In comparison it took 47 years and 2 months for the WWE Championship to reach 100 reigns, and 24 years and 10 months for the Intercontinental Title to reach 100 reigns.
