Sheamus Reveals What CM Punk Said To Him During The Royal Rumble

During his Q&A at Friday’s Wizard World Sacramento Comic Con Sheamus was asked about CM Punk’s WWE status. He told the fans in attendance that he doesn’t know what happened, and no one really does except for CM Punk himself. Sheamus says he never had problems with Punk and despite the fact that they didn’t wrestle each other very often he always enjoyed being in the ring with him.

Sheamus then went on to say that during Royal Rumble match CM Punk was yelling “Welcome back!” at him as he proceed to stomp him in the chest. Sheamus jokingly said that Punk’s greeting was both funny and painful at the same time.

Pretty good story about CM Punk’s last night in WWE. At least he had a sense of humor before his departure. What a way to be welcomed back for Sheamus!
