Shawn Michaels wrestled his last match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26, and although he’s made a few appearances on WWE programming since then, it doesn’t look like he has any plans to come out of retirement.
Michaels may never wrestle another match in a WWE ring, but he has reportedly accepted a full-time role with the company.
PWInsider is reporting that Shawn Michaels will be working as a full-time coach at the WWE Performance Center and that he will be relocating to Orlando for the position.
HBK will reportedly be taking over the “finishing class.” The class was being taught by Terry Taylor before he underwent neck surgery, which prompted WWE to bring in Shawn Michaels.
It was also noted that more changes at the WWE Performance Center will be taking place over the next few weeks. Performance Center coaches Sara Amato and Adam Pearce will be heading to the main roster to work full-time positions as producers.
