Shawn Michaels returned to the ring on Friday at Crown Jewel, and he and Triple H managed to pick up a big win over the Brothers of Destruction in the main event.
Now that Shawn Michaels has officially come out of retirement it’s been rumored that WWE officials are hoping for him to work a few more matches.
But after his match at Crown Jewel Shawn Michaels talked about his future, and he indicated that he won’t be wrestling beyond the event, if he can help it.
“Obviously this whole day has been anxious and nerves and everything else. Once I got in there with everybody it was fun, comfortable. I did a few things to get a little warm – you forget how tough this is on your body. I’ll be feeling it for the next several days. It will be a very good reminder of why I didn’t do it for eight years and why I’m not gonna do it again if I can possibly help it.”
As far as what’s next, HBK said that he’s going back to his regular life and even though the match was fun, he’s glad it’s over.
