Shane McMahon has been making headlines a lot recently following his appearance at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and it looks like he could still be involved with WWE in some capacity.
Owner of South Africa’s Sharks rugby team Marco Masotti recently posted a photo of himself with Shane McMahon earlier this week, and he indicated that a partnership is being discussed with WWE when he posted the following:
“So grateful for a night out with brothers Shane McMahon (son of WWE Vince) and Doug Cifu (co-owner of Florida Panthers). Excited for a partnership between WWE and rugby.”

Following the Royal Rumble it was reported that Shane McMahon had a significant amount of backstage heat due to the work he did as a producer for the men’s Royal Rumble match. Originally Shane was set to be part of WrestleMania 38, but it looks like those plans have been scrapped. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
