Shane McMahon is back and he’s facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32 and if Shane wins he gets control of Raw. Naturally we’re all wondering how this is going to play out. If Shane does win he’s going to need to be around to run the show.
It was noted by Dave Meltzer recently in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that right now the plan is to use Shane up through WrestleMania and that’s it. But plans could always change. Maybe he will just have so much fun being back in the WWE fold that he won’t be able to leave.
The match between Taker and Shane was reportedly made 4 weeks ago when the company realized Cena wouldn’t be able to compete at Mania. Vince McMahon was said to be devastated when he found out Cena wouldn’t be able to work the event as he was planning on having Cena vs Taker carry the show.
So Vince didn’t get Cena vs Taker but there’s always next year right? Now that Shane vs Taker is set WWE can start focusing on more important things. Like what Shane will be jumping off of at WrestleMania 32.
