Vince McMahon returned to television on Monday night and he appointed Shane as the Commissioner of Raw and Stephanie as the Commissioner of SmackDown, but that’s not all he did.
Vince got his kids all fired up and told them that he wants to see some serious competition between the two brands. Shane and Stephanie will be acting as the Commissioners for their respective brands, but Vince told them that they each need to pick a General Manager to run their show. He noted that if they don’t pick a General Manager, then he will pick one for them.
Shane and Stephanie were given a week to decide who they want to choose for the General Manager role on their brand and their choices will be announced next week on Raw. It was also announced that Dean Ambrose will be defending his WWE Championship against Seth Rollins on next week’s show.
Speaking of Seth Rollins, the former champion debuted a new segment on this week’s show called The Rollins Report.
The Rollins Report was used to mock Roman Reigns as Seth Rollins used footage from old interviews to make Roman look bad. You can check out the segment in the video clip below.
