Shane McMahon Shares Update On His Health And Thanks Fans For Support

Shane McMahon surprised us all when he returned to set up a big Hell In A Cell match against the Undertaker at WrestleMania 32. He competed a few times after that and always found himself putting his life on the line for the sake of the match.

Last year Shane McMahon took on AJ Styles in a WrestleMania encounter which started the show and kicked everything off in a great way as fans started the Ultimate Thrill Ride that was WrestleMania 33.

But just as the Road To WrestleMania 34 seemed to be set in stone for Shane-O Mac, he fell victim to diverticulitis. This is the exact same illness that put Brock Lesnar on his back when he was fighting for the UFC.

The Beast Incarnate described this ailment like it felt like he had a shotgun blast to the stomach which is awful to hear. To make matters even worse for McMahon, he was vacationing with his family in the Carribean at the time and had to spend a few days at an Antigua hospital before being flown to NYC where he is currently receiving antibiotics to fight the infection caused from the disease.

Plenty of people were shocked and worried to hear about Shane McMahon’s situation and reached out to him sending Mr. McMahon’s son plenty of well wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery. After all, Shane requires a hernia surgery as well after his infection is cleared up.

Shane McMahon obviously received the influx of kind messages and responded with a sincere thank you. McMahon said he had the best medicine in the world with him which might not have even been something coming from that IV he has to drag around for the time being because he was surrounded by his sons in the photo.

We would like to send the best to Shane McMahon and hope he heals up quickly. His WrestleMania story might have been nixed forcing WWE to call another audible, but I have a feeling this isn’t the last we’ve heard from Shane McMahon.
