It was rumored before Monday Night Raw that there would be a big surprise on the show and to call what happened a big surprise would be an understatement. Even to say it was a huge surprise would be an understatement. Ladies and gentlemen the only way to describe what happened is to just say it. Shane McMahon returned and it was epic.
Vince McMahon made his way to the ring to present the Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence Award and he spoke to the crowd. He announced Stephanie as the recipient and she came to the ring. The crowd was hot, booing every word when Shane McMahon’s music hit. As soon as the crowd heard it the roof blew off of the Joe Louis Arena.
Shane told the crowd that he made a deal with Vince years ago that Stephanie didn’t know about and that he’s here to take control of Monday Night Raw. Vince then told Shane that he could have control of Raw if he could beat The Undertaker, at WrestleMania 32, in Hell in a Cell.
So holy f*&k, in case you missed that, Shane McMahon returned. And he’s facing The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, and he wants control of Raw. We repeat. Shane McMahon is back, he’s facing The Undertaker and he wants control of Monday Night Raw. This is not a drill.
Job well done WWE. job well done.
