On last week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon announced that he will be taking a leave of absence from his position as Commissioner, and he also booked Sami Zayn in a match against Kevin Owens for WrestleMania 34.
Unfortunately for Shane, Zayn and Owens decided to ruin his day by giving him a vicious beating he’ll never forget.
Shane McMahon didn’t appear on SmackDown Live this week, but General Manager Daniel Bryan returned and confirmed that he has been cleared for in-ring competition once again.
Zayn and Owens wasted no time taking advantage of Bryan’s status when they attacked him after they were fired by the SmackDown General Manager.
Shane McMahon took to Twitter to comment on the beating by saying that Zayn and Owens are cowards who don’t belong in WWE.
It’s been rumored that Daniel Bryan will be teaming up with Shane McMahon to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 34, now it looks like it’s only a matter of time before the match is made official.
