Several WWE Departures Confirmed

The TKO merger took place in September and shortly after WWE released a number of office employees and on screen talent. WWE laid off more employees last week and Wrestlenomics is reporting that some of the areas that were affected include finance, sales and partnerships, human relations, and production.

It was also noted that several people at the Senior Vice President level were also let go including the following names:

– Michael Weitz (SVP, Financial Planning)
– Craig Stimmel (Head of Global Sales and Partnerships)
– Karen Mullane (Controller and Chief Accounting Officer)
– Stewart Frey (SVP, Streaming Technology)
– Matt Geyer (SVP, Gaming)

As we previously reported WWE on air personality McKenzie Mitchell also confirmed she had been released. This is the second round of cuts following the TKO merger.

It’s not currently known if the company will be cutting more names in the future, or which departments could be affected. Stay tuned for more updates.
