This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw was the final show before the Raw 25th anniversary episode, and it featured a big main event.
Seth Rollins took on Finn Balor in a singles match on Raw, and Rollins won the match with a finishing move that fans haven’t seen in a while.
The ending of the match was seen as controversial, as Balor blocked a frog splash, then rolled Rollins up, and the announcers tried to play up the replay footage as it seemed that the ref messed up the count, then The Bar interfered at ringside.
Balor then went for the Coup De Grace, but Rollins rolled out of the way, and Cesaro hopped on the ring apron and when Finn ran to the other side, Jason Jordan grabbed his leg while the ref wasn’t looking.
Rollins took advantage by hitting Balor with the Curb Stomp to win the match.
After the match, Finn sold the stomp by acting like he was having a hard time standing as the went off the air, and the announcers played up the damage done by the stomp.
It appears that the Curb Stomp is back.
On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Woken Matt Hardy went one on one with Heath Slater with Rhyno at ringside. Prior to the match, Hardy debuted some new entrance music, and you can check out of a clip of the new song in the video below.
