It’s been a big week for Seth Rollins as he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions on Saturday, and he celebrated his big title win on Monday’s episode of Raw.
During the show Seth Rollins teamed up with AJ Styles to face Finn Balor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day, and Rhea Ripley was at ringside for the match. Ripley was caught off guard when Seth Rollins sneakily put his arm around the SmackDown Women’s Champion which created a humorous moment that quickly went viral.

Seth Rollins addressed the moment during an appearance on The Bump, and he noted that he hopes Rhea’s real life partner Buddy Matthews (formerly known as Buddy Murphy in WWE) wasn’t too offended.
“I saw an opening, I had to take it. I don’t know what else to tell you. It was right there for the picking, and it made for good television and a lot of fun. I hope Rhea wasn’t too offended, I hope Dom-Dom wasn’t too offended. I hope my old protege Murphy wasn’t too offended.
Buddy Matthews worked closely with Seth Rollins on screen for a period of time in WWE, but he was released from the company and he currently wrestles for AEW where he is one third of the AEW World Trios Champions.
