WWE Night of Champions was an interesting event. The show was headlined by a history making match as Sting challenged for the WWE Championship for the first time ever when he faced off against Seth Rollins. Unfortunately for Sting he got injured during the match. But his performance was a testament to the fact that he’s still in great shape.

Seth Rollins recently spoke to CBS Radio Dallas 105.3 The FAN and he said that Sting didn’t want to take it easy in the match, he wanted to go all the way.

“You’ve got to hand it to the guy. I mean, Sting is 56 years old. That’s incredible. I’m 29, so, I mean, the fact that he was able to get in there and do the things he did for that match and stuff, it’s really a testament to how good of shape he kept himself in over the years and stuff like that and it’s not ballet. We don’t get in there and dance around, so it’s physical and he pulled no punches and he wanted to go all the way, balls to the wall.”

Rollins also added that Sting is doing well as he’s currently recovering at home.
