Seth Rollins first competed on the Grandest Stage of Them All when he teamed up with The Shield to defeat Big Show, Randy Orton and Sheamus at WrestleMania 29. Since then Seth has gone on to find major success at WrestleMania as he’s gone to facce some big names such as Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Randy Orton and more.
Recently Seth Rollins spoke to the media during the WrestleMania 39 launch party and when he was asked about his dream opponent for WrestleMania he named WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
“‘Heartbreak Kid’ Shawn Michaels, baby [is my WrestleMania dream opponent]… Shawn? I’ve teased him a little bit about it. I think after his last coming out of retirement match, I don’t know if he’s ever coming back again [Rollins laughed].”
Shawn Michaels officially retired from in-ring competition after he was defeated by The Undertaker in the main event of WrestleMania 26. Following the match many fans believed he would never wrestle again, but he did come out of retirement to team up with Triple H when DX faced the Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel in 2018.
