Even though the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view has come and gone, fans are still talking about the controversial ending to the main event.
When Seth Rollins hit a pile of objects that were placed on Bray Wyatt’s head with a sledgehammer, the referee called for the bell and many people thought the match ended in a DQ, but WWE’s official ruling was that it was called short due to “referee stoppage.”
This week it was announced that Seth Rollins will be defending his Universal Title against The Fiend once again in a falls count anywhere match at Crown Jewel later this month.
A Twitter user jokingly asked if the falls count anywhere match will end in DQ, and Seth corrected him when he responded with the following:
“Correction: it ended in a ref stoppage. When a body isn’t moving, the official has to make the right call.”

Someone else commented with a gif of The Undertaker chokeslamming Mick Foley through the top of the cell, and Seth responded with, “I imagine Mick and Taker might have liked the ref to stop the match there. Might have added a few more years to Mick’s incredible career. Just a thought.”
