The landscape of WWE has changed drastically over the last few weeks as Seth Rollins suffered an injury that forced him to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Now CM Punk is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and he’s still feuding with The Vision.
CM Punk & Jey Uso teamed up to take on Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed in the main event on Raw this week which ended in a double count out. After the match Logan Paul formed an alliance with The Vision when he took out CM Punk with brass knuckles then handed the brass knuckles to Paul Heyman.
With Seth Rollins out of action for up to six months there’s been a lot of speculation regarding how things will play out for WarGames at Survivor Series. Recently Dave Meltzer shared an updated on plans for the men’s WarGames match on Wrestling Observer Radio, and it was noted that Logan Paul will be replacing The Visionary.
“Seth’s replacement in WarGames is going to be Logan Paul. My gut is that still the plan is Punk, Roman Reigns, the Usos on that team, with probably LA Knight as the other guy. Jacob was supposed to be. It could be Jacob if he’s okay to wrestle, but he just had his surgery, so I don’t know if he’s going to be okay by the end of the month.”
As of this writing WWE has not made any announcements regarding the WarGames matches, but the teams and card for the show are expected to come together over the next few weeks.
