Sunday night Dolph Ziggler defended his Intercontinental Championship against Seth Rollins in a 30 minute Iron Man match, and when it was all said and done the match ended in a draw.
General Manager Kurt Angle ordered Ziggler and Rollins to continue under sudden death rules, and after Drew McIntyre provided a distraction, Dolph picked up the victory.
The match was action packed, but throughout the match the fans in attendance consistently did Royal Rumble style countdowns as they counted down to 10 with the clock as a new minute approached.
After the match Seth Rollins posted the following:
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, Rollins and Ziggler requested for the clock to be visible on the big screen during the last 10 minutes of the match for timing purposes.
