Together as a trio Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley dominated WWE as The Shield for years. All three members of The Shield have gone their separate ways, and all three members have also achieved massive success on their own.
Last year at the Royal Rumble premium live event Seth Rollins challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, and he got in Roman’s head when he entered to The Shield’s music decked out in full Shield gear.
During a recent interview with Daily Mail, Seth Rollins was asked why he didn’t bring back the blonde streak in his hair to complete the look. The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion then went on to explain that the decision to use The Shield entrance was actually a last minute decision.
“Why didn’t I bring the blonde streak back? I think the major reason was The Shield entrance was a very last-minute call. I am actually lucky the PPV itself was in St Louis, which is a few hours’ driving distance to my house, where all of my old stuff is stashed. Had we not been that close I would never have been able to do that entrance as I just wasn’t in proximity to get that gear. It was that last-minute, to the point where I had to have people secretly bring me The Shield gear in the back.”
Seth Rollins will be in action during tonight’s episode of NXT as he’s currently set to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
