Seth Rollins won the Universal Championship when he defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, and he waved the WWE flag proudly as the company’s top star before Brock Lesnar dethroned him after cashing in Money in the Bank at Extreme Rules.
Even though Seth Rollins is no longer the Universal Champion, he’s still waving the WWE flag with pride, and during the SummerSlam conference call he made it clear that he now views his former tag team partner Jon Moxley as competition.
“I was surprised by it. I knew Ambrose needed time away from WWE. Now he’s competition and trying to take dinner off my table & good on him.”
Rollins also shared his thoughts on AEW, and he showed more confidence in what WWE is capable of when stacked up against competition.
“We are going to knock them dead, just like we do everyone else.”
