A few months ago Triple H cost Seth Rollins the Universal Championship, and since then Seth Rollins has been hellbent on ending Kevin Owens’ title reign. Rollins challenged Owens for the Universal Title a few weeks ago on Raw, but unfortunately for Rollins, Chris Jericho interfered, and Seth Rollins lost the match.
Seth Rollins later got revenge on Chris Jericho in the parking lot during an episode of Raw, and he hit him with the Pedigree on top of a car. From there the Rollins/Jericho rivalry picked up, and a match was booked for WWE Roadblock: End of the Line.
Earlier in the night Kevin Owens tried to give Chris Jericho a scarf, but Jericho rejected his gift. Near the end of the match Seth Rollins hit Chris Jericho with a Frog Splash, and then Kevin Owens came down, and tried to get in the ring, but Seth Rollins fought him off. While the ref was distracted by Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho rolled Seth Rollins up, but the referee didn’t see it so he didn’t count the pin.
Chris Jericho yelled at Kevin Owens and told him to leave, then Seth Rollins hit Chris Jericho with the Pedigree to end the match.
