Seth Rollins Confronts CM Punk On WWE Raw

Raw kicked off in a big way as CM Punk made a surprise appearance. Punk grabbed a mic and congratulated John Cena on his retirement. He looked into the camera then said he would love to face off against Cena one more time before he retires for good.

CM Punk then addressed the fact that Drew McIntyre got suspended for shoving Adam Pearce and he told the production team to pull up a clip. He joked that the ratings just dipped because Drew was on television. Punk said there are consequences to actions and Drew should not be surprised that he picked a fight with CM Punk then Punk retaliated. He went on to add that he’s the consequence to all of Drew’s actions.

The former WWE Champion said he wants to get his hands on Drew McIntyre, but he can’t do that if Drew is suspended. Punk then said he’s here to ask Adam Pearce if he can lift Drew’s suspension. He asked for Pearce to come out to the ring. However, Seth Rollins’ music hit.

Punk got out of the ring then sat on the announce table. Seth Rollins grabbed a mic and told Punk to get back in the ring, unless he’s afraid. As Punk got in the ring he told Seth to watch what he says.

Seth Rollins acknowledged that the referee made a mistake during the title match at Money in the Bank. He also said he understands why Drew McIntyre cashed in Money in the Bank, but then stated that he doesn’t understand why CM Punk stuck his nose in his business and interfered. Punk said he didn’t stick his nose in Seth’s business then brought up how Drew McIntyre stole the bracelet with AJ Lee’s name and his dog’s name.

CM Punk then said he can hear the fans, so he apologized to Seth Rollins. He said he’s sorry, but because it’s Seth Rollins he can’t really be that sorry.

The Visionary said Punk is the king of propaganda, and he hasn’t figured out that the world doesn’t revolve around CM Punk. Rollins told Punk he was willing to let that selfishness slide until Saturday, but if it wasn’t for Punk he would be WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Seth said Punk took his dream of being champion away from him, so it’s time that he takes something away from CM Punk. Seth told Punk that once he’s cleared he’s going to put him right back on the shelf because actions have consequences.
