CM Punk made his WWE Backstage debut a few weeks ago, and it didn’t take long for Seth Rollins to call him out and challenge him to a match.
However, Punk doesn’t seem too keen on the idea of returning to the ring to face Seth Rollins, and during his most recent appearance on WWE Backstage Punk told Rollins to delete Twitter from his phone.
When asked if he would be on Backstage with Rollins this week Punk responded to a fan and said “hard pass,” and now it seems that Rollins is giving up on the idea of a match happening.
“I’m here, he’s not here and I’m not shocked about that. I think I’ve exhausted all of my energy on the subject. I just don’t think it’s going anywhere, I’m not shocked that he’s not here, so I think it’s time to maybe move on to something that matters. I wish he was here. I wish we could have a face-to-face, but it’s not in the cards.”
