Fans have been waiting a long time for The Shield go get back together, and it looks like they’ll be getting their wish sooner rather than later. WWE has been teasing fans with a possible reunion for a little while now, and at the end of Raw this week the three former brothers all met up in the locker room for a stare down that hinted at what’s to come.
Rumor has it that the trio will be reuniting at the TLC pay-per-view, but current Raw Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins has been open to the idea of a Shield reunion for some time now. During an interview with PWInsider back in August, Rollins was asked if he thinks a Shield reunion could help Roman Reigns with the reaction he gets from the fans.
“I, for one, am open to the idea of it,” said the cover star of WWE 2K18. “Whether it helps Roman or not, it helps me. I truly enjoy being out there with those guys. We shared some great times in the ring. If it happens, it happens. If not, we’ll all be fine.”
Rollins said he’s not sure whether fans boo Roman for fun, or out of spite, but regardless he praised Roman’s work ethic.
“I think the people that decide to boo Roman, they’ve made up their minds. Some of them do it for fun. The rest out of spite. Who knows? The guy works hard.”
