Seth Rollins has had an interesting year. After missing WrestleMania 32 due to injury he finally returned and regained the title he never lost. Unfortunately for Rollins his second WWE Championship reign only lasted a few minutes because Dean Ambrose cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and took the belt from him.
Several months later Seth found himself in the first ever Universal Championship match at SummerSlam, but he failed to capture the title. He then got another chance when he fought in a fatal 4-way match on Raw, but his former mentor Triple H turned on him and helped Kevin Owens win the title.
The tension between Triple H and Seth Rollins has been building for months, but Triple H has been absent from WWE programming so Rollins has been unable to confront him.
A few weeks ago it finally looked like Seth Rollins was going to get his hands on Triple H, but Samoa Joe attacked him from behind. WWE later announced that Seth Rollins re-injured his knee during the attack and the company has yet to make any sort of official announcement regarding Seth’s status for WrestleMania 33.
Next week on Raw, Seth Rollins will finally get his chance to address Triple H and Samoa Joe as it’s been announced that he will be participating in a sit down interview.
According to Seth Rollins, he’s got a lot to discuss.
