Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown Live is set to take place from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA. The show will continue to focus on the fallout from the Money in the Bank pay-per-view with two big rematches.
After James Ellsworth grabbed the briefcase and gave it to Carmella during the first ever women’s Money in the Bank match, Daniel Bryan decided to take the contract away from Carmella before announcing that the first Miss Money in the Bank would be decided via another ladder match. Tonight Tamina, Carmella, Natalya, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will all be competing in the second ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, and James Ellsworth has been banned from ringside.
It’s also been announced that Naomi will be defending her SmackDown Live Women’s Championship against Lana, and Baron Corbin will be facing off against Sami Zayn.
WWE superstars being advertised for tonight’s show include WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, United States Champion Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Dolph Ziggler and more.
