Sean Waltman Comments On The Allegations Against Enzo Amore

Last week Enzo Amore was the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, but a lot can change in a week. A few days ago a woman came forward and publicly accused Enzo Amore of raping her back in October of 2017, and WWE quickly suspended him.

However, it didn’t take long for the company to take things one step further, as he was later fired altogether.

Enzo was supposed to be a part of the Monday Night Raw 25th anniversary show, but he was pulled once the accusations started making the rounds.

Sean Waltman appeared on the show, and he later commented on Enzo’s situation on his X-Pac 12360 show.

“Obviously he may or may have not done this, I am hoping it’s the may not part… It will play out, the investigation will take its course and either charges will be filed or they won’t be. He should have got on top of this instead of stuffing it under the rug. And also quit putting yourself in situations every week of your life where something like this can happen, where you’re leaving yourself open for anything to happen.”

Waltman appeared in a segment at the Manhattan Center which also featured Scott Hall, but as Scott was making his entrance, the show cut to a commercial break. Fans weren’t happy about Hall’s entrance getting cut off, but Waltman noted that the show had to go to break and that was the only spot where they could take one.

“Yes, that was totally the opposite of ideal to go to a commercial at that point. That is what you would do. Business-wise that would be the spot to take it if you needed to. And they needed to they needed to go to break, that was the spot. There wasn’t a better spot for them to take in a middle of a segment, then right there.”
