Sasha Banks has been a hot topic recently as she’s always outspoken about her position in the Raw women’s division. She recently made some comments about how she doesn’t know what she’s doing ahead of time when she arrives at Raw, and the comments got a lot of attention.
During a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Sasha Banks was asked to elaborate on her comments and she said that even though she likes to be prepared, she always pushes herself to do her best.
“It makes it what’s exciting about coming to work sometimes. I’d rather know what I’m doing and be prepared. When you’re not, it just makes things so much more hectic, and it makes you want to do the best that you can with the time you’re given. Like, tonight I have no idea what I’m doing, but when I find out, I just want to make it the best that I can.”
She also added that she doesn’t miss working taped shows in NXT, because on Monday Night Raw anything can happen.
“That’s what I didn’t miss about NXT. Those are taped shows. Here on Monday Night Raw, it’s live and anything can happen. Anybody can get hurt and someone needs to come in and do something. You never know what’s going to happen. In NXT, we do four tapings in a month and you kinda know where you’re going to go, because you get to watch those tapings. There’s an excitement to coming to work every week and not knowing what you’re doing and just making the best of it all.”
Sasha won the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam a few weeks ago, but then she dropped the belt to Alexa Bliss on Raw. Luckily Sasha will get her chance to take the belt back on Sunday when she faces off against Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Nia Jax and Emma in a fatal 5-way match at No Mercy.
