Sasha Banks recently spoke with Sports Illustrated and answered some questions about her injury and more for their Extra Mustard blog.
Banks won the WWE Women’s Championship after she defeated Charlotte on Raw in July. Things seemed to be going well for Sasha, but then she dropped the title at SummerSlam, and now she’s sitting on the sidelines recovering from nagging injuries. When talking about her spot in WWE and her recovery, Sasha noted that the last few months gave her a chance to prove herself.
“Patience is key. You can’t get selfish, and that’s the number one thing I’ve learned at WWE. The world continues to go round, and I just knew–given the right opportunity and the right moment–that the world would know I was good, but now the world knows that I’m great.”
Sasha Banks accomplished one of her biggest goals when she won the WWE Women’s Championship, and she still has a few other goals she would like to accomplish as well.
“I’ve accomplished so many of my dreams already, but main-eventing WrestleMania is a dream. Also, I want to be on the cover of the 2K game next year–bye bye, Brock. The sky is the limit, and there is no limit to my dreams.”
Do you think Sasha Banks would be a good choice to appear on the cover of WWE 2K18? Sound off in the comments below.
