From time to time WWE Superstars deal with health issues that prevent them from doing what they do best, and a few weeks ago Sasha Banks was pulled from in-ring competition.
Why Sasha Banks was pulled exactly has remained a mystery up until now, as the former Raw Women’s Champion recently spoke with Maria Menounos, and she revealed that she was dealing with concussion symptoms.
“I was having head pain. I couldn’t function, I couldn’t even drive, I couldn’t sleep,” Banks said via SEScoops.com. “I went to several neurologists and they pretty much told me I might have post-concussion symptoms, so just rest.”
Banks went on to say that she knew she needed to get checked out, and at first she was unsure if she would be able to compete at Evolution.
The Boss made her return to Raw during last week’s episode, and she also confirmed she’ll be at the pay-per-view on Sunday.
“Thank God I’m okay. I’m better, I feel back to normal, and I’m ready for Sunday.”
WWE Evolution will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday night, and Sasha Banks is set to team up with Bayley and Natalya to face The Riott Squad.
