This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is the go-home show for the Royal Rumble, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair made her way out to cut a promo to kick off the show. Charlotte hyped up the women’s Royal Rumble match, but as she was talking she was interrupted by several other talents from the SmackDown roster.
Charlotte, Shayna Baszler, Aliyah, Natalya and Shotzi were all standing in the ring as Sasha Banks’ music hit then the former SmackDown Women’s Champion made her return to a big pop. Banks got on the mic and said The Boss is back. She also indicated that she’ll be entering the women’s Royal Rumble match when she announced that she’s ready to rumble.
Sasha Banks followed up by slapping Charlotte Flair and she exited the ring then stood on the apron as a brawl broke out. Eventually the ring was cleared by Charlotte and Sasha stepped back in to get in The Queen’s face. Charlotte Flair tried to attack Sasha Banks, but Sasha blocked it and threw Charlotte over the top rope.
The Boss stood tall in the ring as Charlotte looked on angrily from the outside of the ring. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
