They say that anything can happen in the WWE, and you never know when a familiar face might return. On Sunday night Becky Lynch defended the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair at Extreme Rules, and it looked like Belair almost had it won when she was setting Lynch up for the KOD.
Unfortunately for Bianca Belair that’s when Sasha Banks returned and interfered to cause a disqualification. After the match Sasha had a stare down with Becky Lynch, and Becky gave her the thumbs up.
Banks then attacked Becky while Bianca Belair attacked Banks. The Boss hit Bianca Belair with the backstabber, then followed up with a backstabber on Becky Lynch.
Sasha Banks was originally set to challenge Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, but she was pulled from the pay-per-view. Becky Lynch made her surprise return at SummerSlam and she won the title in a matter of seconds when she challenge Belair to an impromptu match.
