WWE superstars have the chance to not only entertain millions of fans all around the world, but they also have the ability to sometimes branch out and explore other forms of media.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue has a long history of helping many women find great success and higher notoriety. They’ve featured women from all sports in the past, and one WWE female superstar wants to be next on that list.
Sasha Banks isn’t just Snoop Dogg’s cousin or The Boss in the ring. She’s a multi-talented superstar who has a great future ahead of her. She also looks amazing in a swimsuit and she knows it too.
Therefore when one fan tweeted a list of women he would love to see appear in Sports Illustrated’s 2018 Swimsuit Issue it turned quite a few heads when Sasha Banks replied.
Sasha said she just met with the editor of Sports Illustrated and she’s ready to have some fun in the sun for SI’s 2018 edition of their annual Swimsuit Issue.
Sasha is either pulling a rib on us or she is completely serious, but regardless of her intention she certainly has our attention. Could we be seeing The Boss in a swimsuit for Sports Illustrated’s 2018 Swimsuit Issue? Only time will well on that one, but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
Other WWE superstars have graced covers and been featured in mainstream magazines in the past so this would certainly fall in line with an already established tradition. One thing’s for sure it most definitely wouldn’t hurt the sales for the magazine if SI featured a swimsuit clad Sasha Banks in next year’s issue.
Gone are the days when WWE’s female talent graced the pages of Playboy due to the modern-age of WWE’s corporate and social responsibility. But Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue would certainly be a nice consolation, especially if they decided to feature Sasha Banks.
