Sasha Banks And Naomi Situation Expected To Get Worse Following WWE Walkout

Last week WWE issued a statement confirming that Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Monday Night Raw. The company later announced that both Sasha Banks and Naomi had been suspended indefinitely, and that a tournament will be held to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

WrestleVotes is now reporting that the situation with Sasha Banks and Naomi is expected to get worse before it gets better. It was also noted that while Sasha and Naomi are receiving support online they are getting the opposite reaction from WWE management.

Following the walkout it was reported that Naomi had been in negotiations for a new deal with WWE. The belief is that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion has about two months left on her current contract. It’s not known if WWE will freeze the contracts of Sasha Banks and Naomi, but Dave Meltzer did note on Wrestling Observer Radio that the wording of the contracts allows the company to do so.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
