The stars of wrestling are known to millions of fans all over the world and some fans go out of their way to meet certain performers. Throughout the year a number of wrestlers such as Jey Uso, CM Punk and Asuka have spoken out about negative fan encounters, and former AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya also shared her take on the subject recently.
While talking about fan interactions on her Rulebreakers podcast Saraya recalled an incident involving a fan that took place at a recent signing in Chicago.
“Lately, I feel there’s been an influx of certain fans feeling way too comfortable to be grabbing on females. Just this past weekend in Chicago, a fan decided he wanted to slap my a** three times in a row because he thought it was funny, and security didn’t do a f*****g thing.”
“They did give me a security guard in the end and he was great, which is fine, but the fans are getting way too comfortable. This is the second time this year a fan has touched me, tried to kiss me, and slap my a**.”
Saraya went on to say that she feels nine times out of ten most fans are great, but there seems to be at least one fan per signing who ends up doing something inappropriate.
