The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is set to air live on the WWE Network in less than two weeks, but unfortunately there are some top stars from Raw that we won’t be seeing in the Royal Rumble matches.
Paige has been pulled from the historic women’s Royal Rumble match, and it was recently reported that her in-ring career with WWE is over.
Now it looks like Samoa Joe’s status for the pay-per-view has been confirmed as well, as he’s been removed from advertisements for the Royal Rumble, so it doesn’t look like he’ll be competing in the match.
Joe was recently injured during his match with Rhyno on Raw, and at this point it’s not known when he will be returning to the ring.
WWE has also confirmed that the United States Title match has been removed from the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The finals of the tournament will now take place at SmackDown Live next week.
