Samoa Joe defended his NXT Championship against Finn Balor at NXT TakeOver: The End in the first cage match in NXT history. The two NXT stars fought back and forth and viciously tried to destroy each other but in the end it was Samoa Joe who walked away with the gold.
The finish came when Samoa Joe hit Finn Balor with the Musclebuster from the second rope and pinned him for the three count. This match was billed as “the end” for the Finn Balor/Samoa Joe feud so it’s likely that this is the last time we will see these two collide for a while.
