Samoa Joe On If He Would Rather Team Up With CM Punk Or Face Off Against Him

It’s been over 3 years since CM Punk left WWE, but wrestling fans are still talking about him. CM Punk chants have become infamous at WWE events, and there are many out there who are wondering if Punk will ever return to the squared circle.

Samoa Joe is a man who knows CM Punk well, and The Sun recently asked Joe if he thinks Punk will ever return to WWE someday. The Samoa Submission Machine noted that Punk does things his own way, so a potential return can’t be ruled out.

“You never know with Punk. He is definitely somebody who does things his own way and I think the biggest thing is that you can never count out what his next move will be. I think no one would have predicted his move to UFC, nobody would have predicted a lot of things he does, so whatever he chooses to do, he will do what feels best in the moment.”

In the past Samoa Joe has said that he and Punk have a unique relationship, and at times they fight like brothers.

When asked if he would rather form a tag team with CM Punk or face off against him, Joe said that it all depends on where their friendship stands at the time.

“It depends on how I feel about him that week. It changes a lot as good friendships do!”
